Project summary: Equilibrio is a free magazine developed by CODEMAR, an ocean conservation NGO. Specialized in Mexican oceans, coastal and marine ecosystems. If we win: we would develop and distribute special editions focusing on Mexico’s Network of MPAs. Success stories, and actions needed to protect and promote them.
Project summary: Surfrider is developing the first permanent escape game in Europe addressing ocean’s health and preservation. If we win: we would develop a free boardgame version of our escape game to reach more people across France, then Europe, with a wild dissemination.
Project summary: Aegean Rebreath volunteers through underwater and coastal clean ups, works with local communities and finds sustainable solutions to marine litter. If we win: we will expand our successful Recycle the Seas project across Greece and seek opportunities for networking and expansion through Europe.
Project summary: Seaworthy Collective is the first startup community & incubator focused on the ocean impact vertical in South Florida. If we win: the prize money would be used to start a fund to invest in regenerative ocean solutions from members of our community.
Project summary: World Sailing’s Sustainability Agenda 2030 sets out the sports ambitious commitment to helping create a better world through the sport with 56 targets. If we win: we would invest all the money to support ongoing sustainability projects such as our youth education programme or projects focused on biodiversity.
